Wow, while reading your report on the education in Egypt I felt like I being dragged down a depressing past. Even though you mentioned that the enrollment has gone up, the gender gap is closing, and there is better access if the schools are not useful or even safe what is the point? It seems as though Egypt doesn't really care? If 1 in 5 schools seems to be unfit for use and not even have water or bathrooms that just makes education sound more like a punishment. It's funny that U.S. schools think they are overcrowded when you look at the picture you included proving that the schools in Egypt are seriously overcrowded. I hope that the UN actually starts doing something about this, because it is very sad that their standards are not even close to being met for Greece.

I was very interested in your blog entry! I did not know much about Egypt, so I was excited to read. It is unfortunate that Egypt’s education is rocky. Although there are many other countries dealing with the same educational problems like Egypt, I am positive they will continue making progress and increasing student enrollment. Your picture definitely gave me a great inside look at how the schools in Egypt are overcrowded. That is such a shame!
